Boy Abunda pointed out that the box office comedienne left for abroad immediately after the “Ang Tanging Family Valentine Concert, post-Valentine concert with Korean superstar Psy last Feb. 16 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

When Ai-ai de las Alas came back last February 25, she has confirmed in an interview that she and her boyfriend Jed Salang are having some problem and they are trying to fix it. She said she went to the United States to help her daughter, Nikki with her papers because she is turning 21. Nikki is Ai-Ai de las Alas daughter by former boyfriend Miguel Vera who is now based in California.

Ai-Ai delas Alas denies rumors that she's a battered girlfriend and said that she and boyfriend Jed Salang are slowly fixing things and working on their relationship. Ai-ai said,
