Multi-media star Toni Gonzaga says she is still with Paul Soriano and that her relationship with the young director is okay and still going strong.

It has been a recurring news in Philippine showbiz that she and Paul Soriano have broken up. Even now that their relationship has reach its 5th year, according to Toni;

“Siguro dahil tahimik kami, dahil walang masyadong issues, kaya akala nila, wala na kami.”

“Wala! I think nasanay na kayo na halos every year or every two years, may issue ng hiwalayan.

“Kung di hiwalay, may third party siya. Nalalampasan naman sa awa ng Diyos yung ganung mga issues.

“Mga normal na bagay—oras, panahon, schedule, saka maliliit na bagay na hindi siguro mawawala yun sa relasyon...na hindi magkaroon ng hindi pagkakaintindihan.So, sanay na kami.

“I think it’s a matter of working hard for it to work. So, it’s a work in progress.”

After almost seven months of not seeing (and not talking with) each other Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Rodriguez renew their friendship. The two beautiful and talented showbiz personalities met and had a chance to talk heart to heart last Saturday, January 30, 2011. Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Rodriguez will work together and be part of the new noontime show of ABS-CBN together with Randy Santiago and John Estrada.




"Sa loob ng apat na oras na yun, I'd like to believe it in my heart, siya rin, we ended it on a good conversation. It was a good talk and everything was clear. Everything in my heart... She said everything na nasa puso niya," says Toni Gonzaga about her four-hour conversation with Mariel Rodriguez. Alex Gonzaga, TV host-actress and younger sister of multi-talented actress Toni Gonzaga, accepts viewers criticisms and consider them helpful. Although some viewers commented that she's just a copycat of her sister, she don't take criticisms personally.

"Okay lang po kung may criticism man, kasi alam ko naman na may point talaga sila. Although minsan, medyo exaggerated 'yong iba. Pero at least, it can help me to be a better host. And sa criticism nila, it means na napapansin nila ako, they noticed me, kaua okay lang po iyon".

She also said that there is no silent competition between her and Toni.

She said, "Mahirap magsalita kasi nga, just like I've said, were getting to know each other and I don't know what his intentions are. Ewan ko sa kanya. Tanungin niyo na lang si Billy. Let him speak"

Nikki Gil also commented on the rumored rift between her and multi-media artist, Toni Gonzaga.

"It's part and parcel of the business, pinasok ko ito, alam kong may ganyan. But I really think na magkaiba naman kami ng style of hosting. Some are more seasoned, some are more experienced, but nevertheless, we have different styles to offer."
