Judy Ann Santos movie "Ploning"
The movie of Judy Ann Santos entitled "Ploning", a period film about a provincial woman living in Cuyo, Palawan, has been chosen as the Philippine entry to 2009 Oscar Awards' best foreign language film category, beating Caregiver, Tribu, and Endo.
"Ploning", a film produced by Panoramanila Pictures Co., was RATED General Patronage by the Movie and Television Regulatory and Classification Board and GRADED A by the Cinema Evaluation Board.
