Actor Richard Gomez ran for the congressional race in the fourth district of Leyte. But he was disqualified. According to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), Richard Gomez failed to establish residency in Ormoc, Leyte but even before the Comelec issued its final decision on the his disqualification case, Richard has endorsed the candidacy of his wife, TV host Lucy Torres Gomez as his replacement.It's a sweet WIN!Today, May 12, 2010, Lucy Torres Gomez was proclaimed as the Representative of the fourth district of Leyte.
