On the other hand, the 21 years old, Phillip Phillips has equally the same strong followers and swooning the ladies around the world. Phillip Phillips has also been so consistent with his performances week after week.

The finale of American Idol Season 10, a season of amazing and diverse voice, is dubbed as the "youngest finale match-up" in the history of the popular show.

Finalist Scotty McCreery is 17 and Lauren Alaina is 16 years old. The grand finale was held yesterday night, May 25, 2011 at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, California .

Scotty McCreery and co-finalist Lauren Alaina are both country singers and both from the South. Scotty is from North Carolina and Lauren is from Tennessee.

After an evening of star-studded performances by Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Judas Priest, Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, and Bono singing alongside "Idol" contestants and with over 122 million votes were cast, Scotty McCreery, was crowned this year's American Idol.

Alecia Keys rock the Idol Gives Back show with her amazing performance of a medley of her two singles, “Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready)” and “Empire State of Mind”. Both songs are from her album entitled "The Element of Freedom".

According to published reports, Ogie Alcasid will have a two night back-to-back concert with Season 7 American Idol Top 9 Ramiele Malubay and another Season 7 American Idol contestant, Danny Noriega. The said concert is billed as Ogie Sings With The Idols. It is scheduled this December 20 and 21, 2008 at the Aliw Theater. The first Pinoy Idol, Gretchen Espina and another Pinoy Idol contestant, Robby Navarro, will also guests in the show.
