Asked why she agreed to grace the magazine's pages a second time:

"Nakita ko naman kung paano magtrabaho ang FHM at inalagaan naman nila ako. At in fairness sa FHM, nirerespeto nila kung ano lang yung kaya kong ibigay, gawin. At yun nga, maganda naman ang kinakalabasan. At bago nila ilabas, ipinapakita nila sa akin, pinapa-approve nila kung ano yung mga napili rin nila, kaya yun din naman.

GMA’s Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is very excited for her upcoming primetime epicserye "Amaya" in GMA-7 Network. Marian plays the lead role "Amaya", a tribal princess turned warrior. Her two leading men are award-winning hunk Sid Lucero and model-turned-actor Mikael Daez. "Amaya" is said to be the biggest and most expensive opera produced by GMA-7 to date. It is also the first historical soap opera. "Amaya" is a story about Bai Amaya, Bai meaning "Princess" in Islam, set on the pre-colonial Central Visayas. The story dates back to the 1500s.

Marian Rivera's nemesis in "Amaya" is Rochelle Pangilinan. Also in the cast are Gardo Versoza, Lani Mercado, Raymond Bagatsing, Rochelle Pangilinan, Gina Alajar, and many more.

From a simple life to a very public showbiz life, Carla Abellana is enjoying the ride of her showbiz life. It all started in October 2008 when Regal Films' lady boss Roselle Monteverde-Teo spotted her at the wedding of actress Chesca Garcia. Couple of months later, she was launched as "Rosalinda" on Philippine television and had her first hosting stint via StarStruck V just before the year has ended. In less than a year, she was able to establish herself in Show business. She is the daughter of 80's heartthrob Rey PJ Abellana and granddaughter of veteran actress Delia Razon but Carla Abellana's life before she entered showbiz was pretty simple.

When Carla Abellana was launched, the public instantly noticed her resemblance to popular actress Marian Rivera but later on, after two soap operas, the public dropped her "Marian Rivera look-alike" tag and she was able to have her own identity.

"She is really beautiful. She's still her oh my goodness..." she interjected. "We belong to the same network and she's very nice to me. So, I admire her for her hard work kasi tignan mo naman kung gaano siya ka-successful ngayon, di ba, very deserving. I find her beautiful talaga, very beautiful! So okay lang, walang problema that I got associated with her."

and she went on saying;

"We're different naman. We're two different people. Nung una, e, sinasabi nga nila, kamukha ko siya, hawig kami, na ako daw papalit sa kanya, mga ganung bagay...Sabi ko, 'No, I'm really not following her career. I have my own, my own decisions to make...Iba naman ang takbo ng buhay ko sa kanya and, you know, the network is really not making us compete against each other. Eventually, nakilala na nga ako bilang ako."

Her life now is very different. Busy and, at times, complicated.

"But no regrets. Sana tuloy-tuloy na. I have guaranteed work naman for the next few years so, sana-sana talaga sa hirap din kasi ng show business competition, sana [ay] magtagal pa,"
