Bb. Pilipinas-World Janina San Miguel backs out from the 2008 Miss World beauty pageant.
The Philippine Representative to the Miss World 2008 beauty pageant come December 14 at South Africa will not be Bb. Pilipinas-World Janina San Miguel. She reportedly quitted. She cited the recent death of her grandfather as the reason of her decision to back out from the competition. Because of this, following the rules and regulations of the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc., the Binibining Pilipinas 2008 first runner-up Danielle Castano will take over Janina San Miguel's duties.
Danielle Castano will be the Philippines representative to the Miss World 2008 competition.
