Actor Emilio Garcia won the 2008 Gawad Urian Best Supporting Actor award. This is Emilio's third win for his performance in the movie Selda where he played the role of a jailed man who developed a relationship with another prisoner, portrayed by this year's Gawad Urian Best-Actor winner Sid Lucero. His first award was from Gawad Tanglaw, next, from Star Awards and now, from Gawad Urian. Emilio Garcia is now a grand-slam actor for his powerful performance in "Selda".
