Lorna Tolentino admitted that she's still coping with the loss of beloved husband Rudy Fernandez. She described her emotions as "jumping jack". Her first first public appearance after Rudy Fernandez burial was during the 5th Golden Screen awards night where she received an award as the Best Musical or Comedy actress for the movie Katas ng Saudi. She also accepted a Posthumous award for her late husband Rudy Fernandez, for his outstanding contribution to the Philippine film industry.
We really salute to your huge strength Miss LT. Im sure it is hard to cope I, muself is mourning in my heart because Daboy is my one and only favorite local Filipino action star. I can't stop shedding tears everytime I watch his burial videos, and interviews, etc. He will remain alive in my heart. Im sure he is in heaven now because He is a good person and Im sure God will always guide Miss LT. People love you Daboy!!!
