Heart Evangelista
Actress Heart Evangelista wins the Best Supporting Actress award of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2009 from portraying the the role originally intended for Angel Locsin. The 35th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Awards Night was held at the SMX Convention Center.
Heart Evangelista won the Best Supporting Actress award for her for her role in "Mano Po 6: A Mother's Love." beating Zsa Zsa Padilla, her co-star of "Mano Po 6: A Mother's Love", actress Kim Chiu for "I Love You Goodbye", Agot Isidro for "Ang Darling Kong Aswang" and Rhian Ramos for "Ang Panday".
Heart Evangelista is on a roll. If you remember, Heart already received her first Best Actress award from FAMAS early this year for her role in the indie movie "Ay Ayeng". She's also nominated for another Best Supporting Actress for another MMFF 2009 movie entry "Nobody, Nobody but... Juan!"
Year 2009 is indeed Heart Evangelista's time. A Back-to-back awards and 3 successful TV series: Luna Mystika, SineNovela Presents: Ngayon at Kailanman and Full House.
