After 40 years, one of Philippines OPM hit makers, Singing Group APO Hiking Society Sets goodbye to Philippine Music Industry. The group with members Buboy Garovillo, Jim Paredes at Danny Javier, just recently announced that the group will be winding down their career. Their upcoming Valentine show scheduled on February 13, 2010 at SMX Convention Center will be their last big concert.
Although APO Hiking Society group will be separated, the three singers will still continue their respective careers as individual. The group, APO Hiking Society was created in 1969. Some of their OPM hit songs are "Batang-Bata Ka Pa," "Blue Jeans," "Ewan," "Kaibigan," "Pumapatak ang Ulan," "Yakap sa Dilim," "When I Met You," and many more.
