Kylie Padilla leads "Blusang Itim"

Kylie Padilla takes on her first lead role as Jessa, the captivating character role of GMA's "Blusang Itim" series. This is a TV adaptation of the 1980's movie that made Snooky Serna and Richard Gomez more popular. Kylie Padilla got the timeless lead character of Blusang Itim after an audition with some of the young Kapuso stars.


Kylie Padilla teams up with Carl Guevarra in this fantasy-drama series that tells of the story that revolves around the fashion industry and depicts how physical appearance—beautiful or not—could never hinder a person's destiny.

Kylie plays a woman with disfigured face. Her act of kindness will led her to the magical "blusang itim.", a blouse that has the magical power of turning her beautiful.

Kylie Padilla, the younger daughter of action star Robin Padilla, was previously seen in the primetime drama Dwarfina and in the hit series Tween Hearts.

Blusang Itim, started airing on GMA-7 last May 16 in Dramarama sa Hapon, and on GMA Pinoy TV last May 18.
